Reiki is non-invasive. It is a hands-on therapy, done fully clothed, on a treatment table in clinic, and for home visits you can be treated either reclined or sitting comfortably in a chair.
For the elderly or infirm, treatment can easily be given from the bedside. Taylore is available for Hospital, Residential Care or Nursing Home visits, and for Hospice visits.
Please wear comfortable loose clothing. You will be asked to take off your shoes, so you may wish to bring some cosy socks to keep your feet warm.
Most commonly, Taylore will place her hands on your head, your face, your abdomen and your feet. It is very common for clients to fall asleep during the session - this is always a bonus! This is when the treatment works best - your busy brain moves gently out of the way.
Rei - universal life Ki - energy
Reiki is the Japanese word for hands-on healing.
A Reiki session will help ease tension and stress and to support your body in it's own ability to heal and function efficiently.
The discipline of Reiki made it's way from Japan to the West in the 1920's, and there are now qualified, certified practitioners throughout the world.
